Feb 12, 2009: ARRIVAL - CAIRO (D) 

Greeted at arrival and transferred to hotel. Meet your tour 

escort at welcome dinner. Accommodation at Semiramis 

Intercontinental. 

Feb 13, 2009: PYRAMIDS – CAIRO (B, D) 

Morning visit to Memphis, the capital of the Old Kingdom and 

Saqqara, the royal necropolis. Continue to Giza Plateau in the 

afternoon and see the Pyramids and Sphinx. Enjoy the sound 

and light show in English before we return to hotel. Welcome 

dinner, tonight, is at the cozy Felefela restaurant in 

downtown. Do not miss the delicious desserts.

Feb 14, 2009: THE EGYPTIAN MUSEUMCAIRO (B, D) 

A half day tour to the Egyptian Museum, which houses Great 

pieces of monumental statuary on the ground floor, 

Tutankhamen Galleries. Optional visit to Royal Mummy Room 

will be offered during the tour. Continue our visit with 

Citadel, a reflection of a diverse heritage and spectacular 

views of the city, Enjoy shopping experience at the world's 

oldest bazaar, Khan El Khalili's antiques, textiles and 

handicrafts. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Feb 15, 2009: ALEXANDRIA - CAIRO (B, L, D) 

A full day tour to Alexandria, Egypt's second largest city, 

stretching 12 miles along the coast. Visit the remains of 

Alexandria's ancient magnificence includes; the Library, Hotel 

Cecil, Pastroudis cafe for a light lunch and famous pastries 

tasting, Roman Amphitheatre and Graeco - Roman Museum. 

Dinner at a local restaurant.

Feb 16, 2009: CAIROLUXORNILE CRUISE (B, L,D) 

Morning transfer to airport for a short flight to Luxor. Meet at 

arrival in Luxor and transfer to pier. Embark the cruise and 

enjoy free time to relax. Afternoon visit to Karnak and Luxor 

temples. Overnight on board Sonesta Nile Goddess. 

Feb 17, 2009: LUXOR – ESNA - EDFU – NILE CRUISE 

(B, L, D) 

Cross to West Bank. Visit the Valley of Kings, the Temple of 

Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari and Colossi of 

Memnon. Sail to Esna & Cross the Lock. Captain’s Cocktail 

Reception. Sail to Edfu. Overnight on board Sonesta Nile 

Goddess. 

Feb 19, 2009: EDFU – KOM OMBO - ASWANNILE 

CRUISE (B, L, D) 

Visit the Temple of Horus one of the most complete 

architectures in Egypt dedicated for God Horus, son of Osiris. 

Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple shared by two Gods, 

Sobek and Haroeris. Continue to Aswan. Oriental Galabaia 

Party. Overnight on board Sonesta Nile Goddess. 

Feb 20, 2009: ASWANNILE CRUISE (B, L, D) 

Visit the High Dam passing by the Old Dam of Aswan and 

The Temple dedicated for Isis on Philea Island. View of the 

Elephantine Island, the Botanical Gardens, and the Agha 

Khan Mausoleum by Felucca. Overnight on board Sonesta 

Nile Goddess. 

Feb 21, 2009: ASWANABU SIMBEL - CAIRO (B, D) 

Disembarkation after breakfast. Flight to Abu Simbel. After 

the visit, return to airport. Flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer 

to hotel near to Cairo airport. Farewell dinner at Jaitta 

Restaurant. Have some fun! Try the water pipe! 

Accommodation at Hotel Sonesta. 

Feb 22, 2009: CAIRO - RETURN (B) 

Transfer to airport. Flight to Washington.
